On Friday, we activated our volcanoes that were made in the Venus reading group when they were reading the book Rūaumoko rages. It was so exciting when the lava came up over the rim of the volcanoes.

Hi Ruma Piwakawaka! I’m Ella from Westland High School. I love your blog posts. I think that baking soda volcanoes are pretty awesome! This reminds me of when I was in primary and I did baking soda volcanoes I found it really fun. It’s so exciting when it leaks over the brim. Maybe you could make volcanoes with Mentos and Coca-Cola sometime and see the difference? Happy Blogging! -Ella-
